Buckley's Mountainside Canoes is a family owned and operated business proud to offer the best in Michigan canoeing. Honoring the traditions established by John and Donna Buckley over nearly the last 40 years, the Busch family is proud to continue a strong practice of environmental and community stewardship. We proudly support the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy's mission of protecting the waters of mid-Michigan for generations to come. You can help by collecting bottles and cans and we will redeem the deposit for The Chippewa Watershed Conservancy

We are proud to support the developing Mount Pleasant Discovery Museum. We value working in partnership with other businesses that enrich our community such as Motorless Motion and GreenTree Cooperative Grocery.

We proudly rent only the finest Wenonah and Old Town Canoes and Kayaks. Our experienced staff keep out fleet in ship-shape. We are conveniently located on the Chippewa River just off of West M-20, allowing you to start a trip after work and end conveniently at your car. The section of river we service winds through miles of natural forest lands in Sylvan Solace, Deerfield and Meridian Parks. We are proud to help maintain this river and have debris bags on hand for paddlers interested in helping while they paddle.
