What's Coming Up!
We've been rather quiet for the last few months but not because we've not been busy! We enjoyed the winter storms (finally!) over the last few weeks and have spent a lot of time skiing and boarding, mostly at Caberfae Peaks.
We have been working hard on an exciting new event for Mount Pleasant. Buckley's Mountainside Canoes will be bringing the Reel Paddling Film Festival to Mount Pleasant April 19th and 20th. At the University Library Auditorium April 19th, 7pm in cooperation with the Student Environmental Alliance and the High Adventure Club we will show two award winning paddling films to students. Then the main event will be at the Mount Pleasant Brewing Company 7pm on the 20th. We will have three films, door prizes, information tables and a special event beer by MPBC's own brewmaster Kim Kowalski! Tickets will be available for this event soon at $12, online and at the Brewery. More information coming soon as we get tickets printed and set up the online ordering site.
Other excting news is the introduction of a totally new way to experience the Chip. We have a new fleet of stand up paddleboards (SUPs). Trips will be available this summer, as well as special events in the parks. Get ready to Surf the Chip! Grab a pair of polarized sunglasses and prepare to see the river like you've never seen it before.
Lots more news to come as we gear up for another great season!

If the Weather stays forgiving til the end of October we are hoping for a "Zombie's on the River Tour" But if its biting cold like last year we may keep our Zombies at home :)
