when do we close for the Season?
Are we closed? Well it depends on the situation!
Just give us some warning and if we can set something up we will. Layer some clothing (perhaps even bring warmers for the feet :) ) and we'll advise you on a trip to take even in the snow.
Bob and I have been paddling New Years Day and its a magical experience to the see the river we know and love so well under a peaceful, white blanket. Just be quiet as you pass the herds of deer nestled by the river saving energy through to spring.
So the answer is, we never close! We do appreciate the time off with our families, so plenty of notice for "off-season" trips is requested.
So with that in mind, there is no bad weather, only poor clothing choices.
